The National Bureau of Vigilance Against Antisemitism (BNVCA) approving the decision of the Court of Créteil which increases the penalties against the « Gang of Barbarians » for its antisemitic crime, confirms that the former Attorney General, Ms. Michèle Alliot Marie was right when she asked the Prosecutor General to appeal the decision of the Paris Court which appeared too lenient by the plaintiffs, the BNVCA and the Jewish organizations.
The Kidnapping and murder of Ilan Halimi, following horrendous tortures and inhuman humiliations, remains indelible trauma since it was the first premeditated murder of a Jew for its quality of « Jew » committed in France after the Holocaust.
On February 13, 2006, BNVCA was the first to qualify this crime as anti-Semitic as soon as the discovery of the body of Ilan, the scar will not close! Mainly since the trial was held in camera, and two of the main accomplices of Fofana are still on the run.
The BNVCA believes that hate of Israel advocated by the Palestinian propaganda, backed by political parties and their elected representatives, by pushing the easily influenced people into doing criminals acts, had as serious consequences this horrible anti-Semitism and anti-Jewish crime.
The BNVCA assures of his sympathy the whole familiy HALIMI.
The BNVCA will continue its efforts to alert the autorities and to be vigilant in such a way to prevent others antisemitics tragedies through its site www.sosantisemitisme.org
or its hotline 06 63 88 30 29
